Control systems are used not only in manufacturing but in various industries, such as petrochemical plants, electric power and water supply. These systems being used are essential for daily life activities. Discovery of vulnerabilities in the software and/or hardware being used in these systems has become more and more frequent in recent times.

JPCERT/CC conducts the following activities with cooperation from communities inside and outside of Japan with regards to control system security:

  - Vulnerability handling,
  - Security early warning service,
  - Providing of security relevant reports and documents,
  - Conduct security relevant events and semi
