Overview Microsoft has released an unscheduled security update for a vulnerability in Windows Shell. The severity rating of this security update is "Critical". A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. According to Microsoft, it is confirmed that this vulnerability is exploited in malware attacks. It is recommended to take necessary measures immediately.
